Apparently the new bubblers are not as well made as the older ones. I purchased two of these recently. The hose attachment on one of my new bubblers came loose from the body within a few days of use. The other one appears to be suffering the same fate.

Buy the plastic version. I have a couple of them and they seem to not have this problem.
