Amazon.com Product Description
Reduce costly mower maintenance and eliminate emissions with the WorxECO 24V Cordless Lawn Mower. A high powered 24-volt battery lets you mow up to 17,500 square feet on a single charge and frees you from the hassle of messy oil and gasoline motors with traditional mowers. And because the mower produces zero emissions, you'll be doing even more to keep your environment, not just your lawn, green and healthy.

A push-button makes start-up easy, and the battery lifts out for charging anywhere. View larger.

Environmentally Friendly, Maintenance Free
Because it has an electric motor, the WorxECO Mower eliminates the hassle with a traditional gasoline engine--just push the start button, and go. The rechargeable battery provides enough power to mow up to 17,500 square feet on a single charge. Purchase additional rechargeable batteries to cover larger jobs, so you don't have to waste time waiting for your battery to recharge to complete the job. The electric motor emits much less noise than a gas engine, protecting your hearing and reducing noise pollution.

Versatility to Cut, Mulch, or Bag
The 19-inch deck offers plenty of cutting surface, with easy all-wheel height adjustment between 1-1/2 and 3-1/2 inches. You can collect your clippings in the included grass bag, slip in the mulch insert and recycle clippings back into your yard, or take advantage of the side discharge chute to quickly clear grass from the cutting deck.

Added features include a safety key to prevent accidentally starting of the mower, and a power level indicator that keeps you informed on how much charge you have left in your battery.

Ergonomic, Adjustable Design

The WorxECO 24V Mower features ErgoSum Design Technology, allowing you to adjust the handle to the most comfortable operating angle without using any tools. Thanks to the electric motor, vibration is minimal, and the included soft grips reduce vibration further to minimize fatigue. The handle also folds for easy storage.

The WorxECO 24V Cordless Lawn Mower is covered by a two-year limited warranty.

4 out of 5 stars Worx well   July 28, 2010

Easy to start, easy removal and replacement of the bag. A little heavier than I thought it would be. Easy to raise and lower the cutting blade.

5 out of 5 stars New Owner and Proud!   July 24, 2010

I just got this mower a short time ago. So far, so good it seems to me. I wish they made this in this country! I had a CHICOM made cord mower I bought two years ago from big box store about this time of year. It is now dead! I tried replacing the ceramic resistor, after taking some readings, and still nothing. I paid about the same as much for my new Worx cordless machine. I really like this mower. First, it is super quiet, and easy to move. Secondly while it is heavier than the cordless. However, once you use this machine, you will be very happy with the new cordless freedom. READ THE DIRECTIONS FIRST BEFORE CHARGING! The power source is very easy to remove and put back in place. The design and flexiblity is excellent! Safety features are good, as is construction. I bought it from a local business who sells and services these! If I have a problem, I will take it back to them! REMEMBER TO READ THE DIRECTIONS FIRST. Now, what I don't like about this mower is it is made by RED CHINESE SLAVE LABOR! It should be made by AMERICAN FREE LABOR making a fair living wage, union or not. All things considered those Chinese folks make a hell of a machine, so God Bless them! NOW, LET'S START MAKING GREAT MACHINES IN THIS COUNTRY AGAIN!

4 out of 5 stars Excellent Battery Life   July 14, 2010

I bought this mower to upgrade from a reel mower as an alternative to borrowing my neighbors gas mower. I really wanted to stay green, but the reel mower was too hard to cut our 1/3 acre lot. This was a wonderful upgrade to make my life easier while still staying green.

The mower does a great job cutting the grass, and while I have only used the mulching feature so far, it seems to make very fine pieces even in longer grasses. The blade definitely slows down a bit in longer grass but still cuts just fine. It is very easy to raise and lower the bed if needed to go over it a trouble area a couple of times.

The battery life is the best thing about this product. We have 1/3 of an acre lot, so I was concerned about getting a mower where I could cut the whole yard at once without having to stop and recharge. Cutting our whole yard takes a bit more than an hour, and the battery status led still shows 1/2 battery left!

Amazon had super fast shipping and the best price (by far) as usual. Make sure you check around, as Worx constantly has rebate deals going on. Recently there was a $100 off this mower, and I saw at the end of last year you could get a free trimmer/hedger/blower ($199 value) when you bought this mower.

5 out of 5 stars great Worx mower, but slow customer service   July 5, 2010
Bob
I read the reviews before I bought my Worx mower. I was prepared for a decent product and lousy customer service. That's what I got, although in the end the Worx people did resolve my problem to my satisfaction - after many months. I live in western Montana and have about 1/3 acre of lawn to mow. I used to use a 21" push Sears gas mower. The Worx does my lawn on one charge and I find that it pushes about like the gas mower. I have used it with and without the grass catcher and have no complaints - the bag actually empties easier than the one on my gas mower. I like that it is quiet and doesn't pollute the air. I have used it weekly for 2 months now and so far I give it a thumbs up. I still use the gas mower to do the hard stuff like dethatching and cutting a weedy section of my yard. My problem was that the mower arrived with a bent part on the handle that I tried to have replaced with a new part rather than shipping mowers across the country. After a month of discussion with Customer Service, they agreed with this approach, but sent the wrong part. I emailed them pictures of the problem part and spent months following up with them about the part. Finally, after 3 months, they said that they were not able to provide the part or replacement mower because this model mower (WG780) was no longer in production. They offered a partial refund of my purchase price, which I accepted. Fortunately, the bent part does not interfere with safe operation of the mower. If it had, I would have shipped the thing back to them months ago. My main complaint with Customer Service was that they never returned phone calls or responded to emails. I had to initiate all of the contacts. I hope this helps you.

3 out of 5 stars Worx is a lot of work   July 2, 2010
W. Cannon (Houston, TX)
Wife wanted me to get a little extra exercise and bought me this mower for my birthday. Everything went well until I used it, Worx is very heavy and is hard to push through tall grass even though it will go through it power wise. The mower came to me with a very dull blade so after mowing, little pieces of grass still needed to be cut. Now to take blade to get sharpened and will see how it does from there. 19" cutting path makes for a long day cutting your lawn too. Yes it electric, but not as quite as you would think either.
