Folks, be advised, the other reviewers describing customer support are not exaggerating. It is truly just about the worst service I've ever had. In fact, in the midst of trying to get some help for a problem it became so ridiculous I found myself laughing out loud in sheer amazement. Probably to keep from crying. Along with the product arriving as though it was dragged behind the delivery truck instead of in it, there was a battery problem. After calling their "hotline" and waiting what seemed like an eternity, I was able to speak with a very unhelpful and unfriendly representative. I was given the name and number of their local rep. After repeated calls I finally got someone on the line who had no idea or interest in what was happening and was told I'd get a call back. That never happened. I called back Worx and after going through the whole dog and pony act of finally getting a human on the line the best they could do was promise me a call back. Once again, that never happened. I'm sending it all back and going to the competition.
To sum it up, I was originally excited about this product, but wish I had read more reviews before purchasing. I will not make that mistake again. Just like purchasing any products from this company.

We had seen a neighbor using a cordless electric lawn mower this past fall and decided we wanted to get one of these for Christmas --- yes, we know, practical gifts rather than gaudy baubles and more electronic junk. Anyway, we came across this mower and researched them here and on the Worx website at [...]. They had a rebate special where if you promised to recycle your gas power mower, you'd get a $[...]rebate. That sounded good to us so we jumped at the offer. That made our $449 purchase something like $[...].
When the mower arrived in a huge box, we put it together and had some fun going out and mowing a little. It was already a little too cold here to do much mowing and snow fell within a couple of days of receiving it but it worked great out of the box. We took the battery out and are storing it in the basement over the winter but we are really looking forward to getting it out and doing a little mowing.
We had a little issue with getting the $[...]rebate but upon calling the corporate office and talking with a Customer Service rep, we got that resolved almost immediately. They were very cooperative in ensuring that we were satisfied customers. Thank you Worx.

Lawn Mower worked very well for 6 months. Battery still in good condition.
However, the Handle to raise and lower the mower is EXPOSED to shrub branches when you cut under your shrubs.
After 6 months, Handle FALLS OFF.
Worx customer support calls this "excessive" wear and tear and does not Stand Behind their warranty.
How do they get away with this? Notice that Soft Plastic Body? It gets scratched in normal use.
Normal use scratches are called "Excessive Ware"
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
Cheap Junk from China.

Very easy to use. Works great. Its really light so its easy to move. Cuts just like a gas motorized lawnmower. I like the easy height adjustment for the blade. A must buy!

I have a 1/2 acre lot that is approximately 3/5 mowable green stuff. It certainly isn't a lawn, but looks pretty good when kept mowed. Keep in mind that this in Hawaii on the windward side where we average more than 120 inches of rain per year, so it's pretty much a rain forest and you can actually see the green stuff growing. This mower does a pretty admirable job even after several weeks of growth that is still a bit too wet. The battery lasts long enough to get the whole yard mowed in two charges when dry and three if wet and uncut for more than three weeks. It's much lighter and easier to use than my old Honda and Weedeater gas mowers, which have gone into recylceland. I'd really like to find a second battery for those rare days when the mower runs out of juice before I do.
