Here's what I saw when opening the box:
1. There was no styrofoam, bubble wrap, packaging paper, anything to protect the parts in the box. Everything was just sitting on each other.
2. The bagger was sitting on top of the mower. It had an oil stain on it.
3. There was no oil for the mower. It is supposed to be supplied.
4. I checked the dipstick and it had some oil on the end of it. The mower is not supposed to be shipped with oil in it.
5. The foam on the handlebar was torn, indented, worn in several places. It was sitting directly on the plastic side discharge chute's edge. If there was any packaging whatsoever or the discharge chute was upside down it probably would have been ok.
6. The blade control bale and cable were not assembled, just hanging there. I've downloaded the manual and there are no instructions on having to install that.
7. The mulching plate was installed and looked worn, scratched in several places.
8. The instruction manual was in an unsealed bag just sitting on top of the mower. Looked like it was supposed to be attached to a handle bar.
9. The sticker protecting the engine had been pulled back in a couple places and was bubbled.
10. The box itself was in OK shape, although it was crushed a bit on the top middle and wasn't sealed very well.
I refused delivery and have gotten a refund. I am disappointed with the packaging, delivery, and this experience.
