The easy-start system lets you start the engine with one quick pull--no priming. | A variable-speed, self-propel system keeps the Lawn-Boy moving smoothly. | ReadyStart Engine and Rear-Wheel Drive for Easy Operation Thanks to its ReadyStart Briggs and Stratton 675 series engine, you won't have to worry about priming or operating the choke on the Lawn-Boy 10641. Simply start the engine with one quick pull, and you're ready to mow. Because it's powered by rear wheel drive, the Lawn-Boy 10641 maneuvers well on irregular surfaces. Large 7-inch front wheels and 8-inch rear wheels help the Lawn-Boy 10641 run smoothly, easily gliding around turns and over obstacles in your yard. Versatile Cutting System Meets Your Needs The Lawn-Boy 10641 is ready to mulch, bag, or side discharge, depending on your needs. Without the bag, the mower will mulch the grass and leaf clippings back into your lawn. Alternatively, you can collect the grass and leaf clippings directly into the bag, leaving your lawn neat and clean. For further convenience, the height of the blades is easily adjustable by setting the oversized handle grips to one of the large notches on each wheel. There are 7 different heights available between 1 and 4 inches, so you'll be sure to find the perfect setting for your lawn. Designed with You in Mind Built with you in mind, the Lawn-Boy 10641 has plenty of user-friendly features. To start, a one-piece handle increases maneuverability, and the lightweight, 20-inch steel cutting deck is perfect for mowing in tight areas. Additionally, the top-mounted bagging system makes it easy to empty and replace the bag by simply inserting or removing the grass bag handle from the two notches at the base of the mower handle. Warranty Information The Lawn-Boy 10641Walk-Behind Mower is guaranteed to start on one or two pulls for three years, or it will be fixed for free. It is also backed by a two-year No-Worry Warranty that offers full coverage of materials, components, and workmanship. A waste of time and money July 21, 2010 ALNC This lawn mower is poorly designed. The grass clippings get caught in the right rear which stops the blade and it stalls. I've tried every adjustment in the wheels thinking that if it was higher it might help - no luck! I counted 20 times I had to restart after it stalled. Each time I had to turn the thing upside down and clean out the clumps - and, this was normal cutting height. I hate to see what it might do if grass was wet or tall. Only good thing I can say about it is that it does start with one pull. I took it back where I bought it and got a refund. I'm going back to Troy Bilt - it cuts through anything with no hassle.
Lawn Boy Replacement July 16, 2010 Zac (WA) I previously had a nearly identical Lawn Boy which convienently developed a major oil leak onto the pan just after the warranty expired. I paid a repair shop $100 to fix it but it didn't help. I liked the Lawn Boy's features and performance enough to get another one. I expect more from a B&S engine however. I'll break down the old one for parts -- just in case.
Very Nice Product July 15, 2010 G. Solaiappan (USA) I've used this product twice for my lawn and its not a gas guzzler. Had to learn a little about self propell and rear wheel mowing, other than that, Its a very nice product and would recommend to anyone.
Pretty face, little character July 10, 2010 M. Talor (USA) I previously owned a Lawn Boy 2 cycle mower with good performance. This mower starts and runs correctly. The bag is small and at an unusual high angle in relation to the discharge chute. The bag is about 1/3 full when the discharge chute clogs. This mower also leaves clumps when in the recycle mode. I consider this mower completely unsatisfactory.
things not assemble right July 3, 2010 pchan 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought the lawnboy lawn mower and set it up for mowing. I came to find out that they assemble the right rear handle to elevate and lower the mower was mounted backwards. Now I can only use the lowest 2 levels. The handle will not go past the 3rd level due to the body of the mower is in its way. Can someone help?
